The Conde dynasty settled in the first quarter of the 20th century in a workshop on Gravina Street, where Esteso trained his nephews Mariano, Faustino and Julio Conde, who would form the "Hermanos Conde" brand.
In the early 1950s, Julio Conde became independent, setting up his own workshop at 53 Atocha Street. From 1960 until 1989, Esteso's nephews ran the business under the name "Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso Conde Hermanos" or "Hermanos Conde Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso." Felipe Conde (born in 1957) and Mariano Conde Jr. (born in 1959) joined the workshop as apprentices. Meanwhile, in 1980, Mariano Conde Salamanca (Mariano Conde Sr.) and his two sons, Felipe and Mariano, set up a new workshop on Felipe V Street, under the name "Conde Hermanos Sucesores Sobrinos de Esteso."
After the death of Faustino in 1988 and Mariano Sr. in 1989, Felipe and Mariano continued making guitars in their workshop on Felipe V Street under the name "Conde Hermanos Sucesores Sobrinos de Esteso," better known as "Conde Hermanos." In 2010, Felipe and Mariano decided to dissolve their partnership and work in their respective workshops near the Teatro Real.
