La Guitarrería de Madrid is a space devoted with soul and purpose to the world of the guitar. Located in the heart of the city, at 99 Atocha Street, our shop opened its doors on May 21st, 2016, with a clear goal: to provide a specialized place where guitarists —whether students, professionals, or enthusiasts— feel understood and properly advised.

Behind the project is Alberto Palma, a passionate expert in classical and flamenco guitar, and a deep connoisseur of Spanish luthiery. From the beginning, his vision was to bring together a carefully curated selection of guitars from the finest Spanish luthiers and brands, covering more than 80% of the national guitar-making scene. The result is a living, high-quality catalog designed to meet all musical needs — from student-level instruments to true concert-grade guitars.

At La Guitarrería de Madrid, we offer personalized, honest, and friendly advice. We don’t just sell guitars — we help each guitarist find the right guitar. That’s why every instrument can be tried in ideal conditions and with all the time you need — no rush.

We also have an in-house Luthiery Workshop, where we perform precise adjustments, repairs, and specialized maintenance. All guitars purchased from our store include a lifetime guarantee on check-ups and basic servicing, because we believe that caring for the instrument is part of its history.

Over the years, we have built a strong network with flamenco venues, music schools, and teachers all over Spain, making our shop a trusted meeting point for the guitar community, both in Madrid and beyond.
