His professional experience stems from the long history of the Carrillo family, of which he is the seventh generation of guitar makers. This has led to his receiving the Regional Craftsmanship Award of Castilla La Mancha and also the National Craftsmanship Award in 2010.
His guitar-making style is influenced by various schools, ultimately being refined by the influence of the Madrid school. His guitars are renowned worldwide and used by great concert artists such as Juan Manuel Cañizares, Niño Josele, Javier Limón, and others. It's worth noting that maestro Paco de Lucia relied on his guitars for the recording of his work "Cositas Buenas."
Vicente Carrillo guitars are excellent. Vicente's craftsmanship is synonymous with the tradition of a long family tradition in guitar making, and as a professional, he is impeccably honest. In other words, he always takes responsibility for what he has "achieved," because every instrument he makes, especially in the highest range, is an "achievement."
